Root Brown Recycled Glass Beads

The process for making recycled glass beads is multi-step. The major parts of this process are crushing glass into small pieces that can then be put into custom-made clay molds. A cassava stem is placed in the center of the mold before heating in a kiln in order to permit a hole in the finished bead product. The krobo tribe of ghana is known for the quality and beauty of its recycled glass beads.
